A Bride Her Botanical Inspired Wedding

  • The wonderful and world-famous Kew Gardens may be the setting for that enchanting celebration I have the pleasure of sharing along with you today; a springtime affair that happened just before Coronavirus lockdown restrictions last March. From the San Diego boutique, Anna chose her elegant, off-the-shoulder dress, coupled with wonderful knowledge about the helpful team in the boutique, too.

"The Dress Theory was unbelievably helpful! During our ~2-year engagement, I tried on more than 100 dresses and hadn't found one I was particularly mounted on."

"I had about 7 days before I had chosen a dress so that they sat down beside me and experienced pictures of all of the dresses I had tried on, as I said excitedly what I did and didn't like concerning the dresses. That's once they pulled that one. Both me and my sister teared up and used it on! It's an attractive memory."

One beautifully handmade component of Anna's wedding outfit would be a cathedral-length veil scattered with pearls, sewn by her mother.

The couple first met at a university in San Diego, once they both went along to the same party.

Two days later they found themselves in the same Chemistry class together, discovering additionally they had many mutual friends.

"We wanted to obtain married outside, so when we chose March in London I wanted to ensure we felt as close to outside as you possibly can."

"The flowers were designed to look overgrown, and we chose fragrant plants like eucalyptus and jasmine too, so whilst we were inside searching on the gardens you can smell them."

Inside Anna and Jack’s ceremony room were beautiful floral arrangements and candles lining the aisle casting soft, romantic light.

An acoustic guitarist played Hallelujah as Anna walked on the aisle along with her dad.

Eagerly awaiting their arrival was groom Jack, wearing a good navy blue suit.

The couple's brother-in-law was their celebrant, and during their lovely ceremony, Anna and Jack chose a by Paolo Coelho like a reading – among my absolute favorite books too!

The bridesmaids looked wonderful in backless pale blush pink bridesmaid dresses, worn using their selection of footwear and gold or natural-toned jewelry.

In her hair, Anna wore a comb of fresh flowers by the florist, and she or he and her bridesmaids carried exquisite bouquets full of deep red and crimson roses and ranunculus, sweetly scented jasmine and eucalyptus.

"I just loved their style. I fell deeply in love with a photo of the centerpieces on Instagram from the past wedding they did at Kew. It would be a really easy choice."

"I knew planning from to date away I wanted a florist I could trust to create it the venue seems like a dream with little direction. They did an incredible job of capturing our style just from an inspiration board."

The photographer stylish editorial approach lent itself perfectly to Anna and Jack's gorgeous day, as well as their spectacular venue.

Taking an hour or so post-ceremony to shoot with Rebecca (including inside Kew's magnificent Palm House) was one of the couple's favorite parts using their day.
