A Modern, Coastal Country House Party Wedding

  • Meet Leah, a Business Development Manager, and Russ, a Surveyor. They were married around 18 August inside a ceremony at Beaumaris, then a relaxed reception at an attractive venue with accommodation, occur 6 acres of gardens and woodland near the seaside. Leah and Russ chose an artwork photographer to capture their day.

"Sarah photographed our friend's wedding a few years before ours, and also the photos were just gorgeous. Sarah was fantastic around the day, apart from the more formal portraits we barely noticed she was there, however the photos she got are perfect – and an ideal combination!"

Leah finds the elegant dress Made from beautifully cut and draped crepe, the gown also has pretty capped sleeves embellished with beads and sparkling crystals, which run down the reduced back.

"I wanted something comfortable that I could wear all day long and night, something which I felt myself in but helped me feel like the very best version of me. I tried on some dresses with my bridesmaids a couple of weeks before I found mine, plus they were all nice but none of these felt such as the one. When I tried my dress on, I was with my sister, my mum, and 3 of my aunties – all 5 of them cried, and I just didn't wish to take it off. I didn't think I'd possess the 'I've found the one moment, but I did."

Leah's two flower girls were her cousin's daughters Matilda and Georgia, plus they looked lovely in their long sleeve flower girl dresses from FeelTimes. Sweet page boy Wilf wore a good grey tweed suit with braces.

The bridesmaids wore a variety of different dress designs in soft blush pink, along with fresh flowers adorning their hair, as well as their shoes and accessories.

"I liked the thought of my bridesmaids choosing their very own different dresses because they all have different styles, but knew the dresses required to complement one another." Click

As well as her shoulders and back, there is also sparkle on Leah's feet, having a pair of glittery heels, that has been a gift from her aunt.

Leah and Russ are generally from Crosby in Liverpool, their parents' houses are only a mile apart, plus they have numerous mutual friends, however, with Russ away at boarding school, they didn't meet until 2007 when he returned home from the gap year.

"We were together for pretty much 10 years when Russ proposed around the bridge to Quinta Do Lago beach in Portugal, that is my favorite place, having spent every Easter plus some summer holidays there with my loved ones and Russ for that last ten years."

Russ decided on a splendid deep blue suit, having a grey waistcoat, white shirt, and burgundy knitted tie.

"We wanted a modern, clean look, so went for any white, flat-lined marquee with white carpet, perspex Louis Ghost chairs, and white table cloths. It was lovely to determine the greenery with the gable end from the marquee."

"We also booked a silent disco, and it was the highlight of the day! Anglesey includes a midnight stop for amplified music, therefore we brought the ceremony time toward 12 pm to ensure we'd enough time partying with these guests, as well as added a silent disco at nighttime, which everyone loved. We even used the headphones again on Sunday evening we loved it a lot!"

"We loved getting the wedding within the whole weekend. Thursday only agreed to be me, Russ, and our bridesmaids and groomsmen, which gave us serious amounts of catch up, after that time Friday all of us arrived, and we set everything up together."

    Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Try to savor it, and never get too caught up within the planning. I wish I could return to my pre-wedding, planning self and remind her that everything is going to be perfect, as well as if something wasn't, I was the only person who knew."
