While the 2016 World of Warcraft movie was disappointing in the US box office, it performed well in China and managed to earn more than $430 million worldwide. The film could lose money in the long run buy WoTLK Gold, but that doesn't necessarily rule out the possibility of a sequel. Filmmaker Duncan Jones has ideas for one trilogy, however it's still to be determined whether he'll be able to create another movie.
The Evolution of World of Warcraft
Someone posted on Twitter to confirm if there would be a World of Warcraft sequel, and he replied, "I truly don't know." Jones stated that he would like to have a follow-up, but he explained that the final decision will be left to Legendary, the production company responsible for the first film.
While the possibility of a World of Warcraft sequel is not yet confirmed, Jones recently shared some clues about what the story might cover. In other tweets, he declared that a Doomplate for the character Ogrim was planned for a sequel. He further said: "With the orcs now in Azeroth and learning about armor production in this World of Warcraft ."
Jones went on to say: "[ World of Warcraft ] would have seen Dalaran LAND within the Alterac mountains and magic flourish as Kirin Tor tried to be more open following the death of Llane buy WoW WoTLK Classic Gold."
